Our dreadlock queen with hair so long and thick she likes sharing a gack of it on the carpet quite regularly is finishing with her deluxe spa treatment. Looking at her, bright and shiny with her head and paws coiffed to Paris Hilton finery, Caroline and I laugh out loud, hearing Murphy meow: “I am puss in boots.”
While a beautiful blue sky is nothing to take for granted and the little pink clouds only add to the nice view – we need rain. Up north, no snow this season has killed the skiing business. After nearly 11 years of living in the desert, I would like to move someplace where moisture has a presence.
Outside my window, I hear a voice of authority telling someone to ‘put down the knife, and the other one’. For a moment I was certain this young man was going to meet the Tazer as he challenged the officers with the classic ‘what’d I do?’ The officers had to request multiple times that he drop the weapon. Without further incidence and no one getting hurt, the guy is handcuffed, searched, and ultimately let go.
Someone probably put this flag up right after 9-11 and like the paint on the house, it just sits there slowly disintegrating. Strange how the red stripes stay in better shape than the white ones. I’ll bet I know why, this flag was most likely made in China, their engineers would be remiss if ‘red’ wasn’t enduring. Makes ya wonder if after China starts selling cars in America if you should think about buying the red one.
The signs of springtime are coming on strong. These lemon blossoms will soon open showing their white petals and unleashing a sweet and beautiful aroma. If we get some rain in the next month I’ll be featuring many photos of wildflowers that with enough precipitation will blanket the state of Arizona.
Friend Rinku Shah is seen here ‘threading’ Caroline’s eyebrows. This method of plucking eyebrows is the preferred way of ridding unwanted hairs from the eyebrows and is also used for removing any other facial hairs a woman might find popping out that she prefers wasn’t there. I’m thinking of having Rinku thread my nose hairs.
