Voting

Jutta Engelhardt after visiting my polling place with me as I voted in Arizona primaries

Had to go out and vote in today’s primaries so I dragged the mother-in-law with me so she could visit an American polling station. All-in-all it was pretty uneventful and although she didn’t vote, the man who stood next to where the ballot is fed into a secure box gave her a sticker. So, who did I vote for? A candidate.

  1. Strange thing about American culture, nobody ever seems to WANT to talk about who they vote for. Bad form.

  2. Oh, almost forgot, I’ve been voting Green Party for the last 15 years. Some say it’s a wasted vote, for me it’s a clear conscience.
